Welcome to Dunbar Animal Hospital
We will accept walk-ins from 8:00 am to 10:30 am. In the event of excessive patient admissions and occasional staffing shortages, it may be necessary to limit patient exams during the later morning hours. You may call ahead to be assured we will be able to provide the appropriate care your pet may need. You may also schedule an appointment with one of our veterinarians between 3 pm – 5:30 pm. Please understand that the wait time during walk-in hours may be as long as 1 to 2 hours. Availability for routine appointments may be up to 2 weeks for non-urgent wellness visits. Please call our office to discuss your pet’s needs and we will work with you to schedule care for your furry family member.
We also offer technician appointments MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY for anal gland expression, nail trims, heartworm tests, doctor prescribed subcutaneous fluid therapy, and laser treatments for pets that have been recently examined by our veterinarians. These patients must have proof of current Rabies vaccinations and a current (within 1 year) physical exam by our veterinarians.
If you have any concerns about our protocol for seeing patients please call the office before your arrival so we can discuss your concerns and answer any questions.

Testimonials
Such a nice and very clean, updated place. They took my girl as a walk in. Dr.Grady talked with me in easy to understand terms. Was wonderful with my girl.

Excellent service. Kind employees. Got my drug in quickly. She told me to bring him right away. Got him in medicine, and he had a follow-up visit. Always great service

They have been great both times, I took my 19 year old lab, Emma, to see them.
Today, she was given some meds to help with her breathing and pain. Sadly, her quality of life is decreasing, but the Dr was awesome in talking to me about what my husband and I need to talk about.

Very friendly and caring staff. Love the option to make an appointment and actually get to go inside with your pet and know what is going on.
